If your remote is not available anymore, only expensive original available do not despair as there is still one last chance!

We carry out remote control repairs - where possible

1. ANY (iPod, Playstation, TV, DVD, etc.)
    Standard Infrared remotes for £. 11.99 all included
2. LCD Infrared remotes for £. 16.00 all included
3. RF remotes when possible for £. 19.00 all included
4. Special equipment Infrared (or extra work needed) for £. 19.00 all included
(not a standard TV remote or several screws to open it, etc. - which involve longer working time than usual)

If you wish us to attempt to repair it, please send it to us with:

1a. a cheque or (crossed) postal order [cheque payable to: MS electrical]

or

1b. mention you wish to pay by credit/debit card/Paypal after repair
2. 4x 1st class stamps (to return remote if not repairable) at the address below or we will not return it to you
3. working email address (to contact you - not by phone to avoid misunderstandings)

(the above points 1a. or 1b. + 2. + 3. are all required before we even commence work) with the exclusion of the cheque, you can pay online if you wish to do so.

Only send your remote control handset if it does not work completely or if some buttons do not work properly or intermittently - in that case we may be able to help.
DO NOT send it if it has mechanical broken parts, as they are not available - although occasionally we may be able to recoup a button from another remote!

If we are able to repair it, we will repair it, we will draw your cheque or postal order and send the remote back together with the 4x 1st class stamps - repaired remotes will go out only when cheque is cleared or if you choose to pay onlin, we will email you with simple instructions

If we are not able to repair it, we will send it back together with your cheque/postal order and keep the 4x 1st class stamps.  Please note, if you wish to pay by credit card, no problem. Just send your remote together with the 4x 1st class stamps and no cheque. If it is repairable, we will send you information on how to pay online or by phone. If you do not send the stamps we will not return it, you will have to either collect it or send a (fully paid) SAE.

Enclose a letter with the problems you have within the parcel and your full mail address and telephone number with email address too or send just a email with all the details.

Please use the payment buttons only after we a have repaired your remote and remember to check that the cardholder address is correct or it will halt the process.

Notes before you send it

If your remote is gradually failing to respond with any button or only works from a short distance (this can also be a fault!), check and replace batteries.
All of them and do not mix them with old ones - be also absolutely sure they are 'really' fresh.
Batteries kept in a drawer, loose and together with other metal objects (keys, pens, etc.) may interfere and ultimately short the batteries and discharge them - even if only one is flat you will not know, unless you have a meter.
Always keep them in their original pack if possible - even if you use one, keep the rest in the pack.
